All outstanding Community Service Hours must be completed and turned in by the DUE DATE.

 All youth can complete additional journal entries/video reflections for community services hours if they are pass their 90-day review. 

Community Service Options 

There are more places to choose from in Bartow County than the ones listed below. Check with your church, city buildings, and parks & recreation. They can almost always use volunteers. Just remember to print the form linked below and take it with you for them to sign when you're finished.

***Please check with the shelter before going there. Sometimes they require the parent/guardian to stay on the property with the youth. 15 years or older. *Parent/Guardian must sign a waiver first (download off website). They are open 7 days a week. Remember, this is a SHELTER - dress appropriately. No open toe shoes. No hoop earings (big jewelry). No short shorts, or skirts! The Noble Hill-Wheeler Memorial Center is an African American Museum that is housed in the 1st Rosenwald school in NW Georgia (Cartersville). Currently we are in need of volunteers to assist with the preservation of collected papers, letters and photographs of importance. We also are in need of some light to moderate yard work.

The Street Store (located at the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter)
The clothing sales is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month and volunteers are welcome to come help setup and sell clothing.
